I decided to add a little something(in the App Of Week category) for the gaming folks out there since…well games are apps too. The game in the spotlight this week is Chicken Republic by Nigerian Developer Abiola Olaniran (Released 3rd February). The aim of the game is to protect your chickens by bringing down any animal(with your gun) going close to your chicken, since your chicken will always have some evil visitors(Wolves, Bears e.t.c).  One of the issues however i had with the game was the name. I mean there was really no action from the chickens apart from their noise, but i think its a good try anyway. Chicken Republic is free and can be downloaded from the Windows Phone Marketplace, so download it, give it a try and send your suggestions/feedback(if any) to the developer for further improvements
